Shipping Terms and Conditions
These Shipping Terms & Conditions apply to orders placed with The Bamboo Jungle via www.thebamboojungle.com.au (“we”, “us”, “our”). By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.
General Policies
Order processing and verification typically takes 2-3 business days depending on demand levels and product shortages.
The expected time of arrival is 5-7 business days.
You will always receive an email once your order is processed as well as a tracking number.
Changes to Orders
Once an order is placed, we cannot add, remove, or change any items/addresses in the order.
Incorrect Addresses
In the event that a delivery address is submitted incorrectly when an order is placed, we assume no responsibility and cannot ship out a replacement package or refund these orders.
If you realize that you submitted an incorrect address at the time of your order, please email us through our Contact Us page to notify us immediately. We can only correct the address if the order has not been shipped out yet.
Lost or Stolen Packages
We assume no responsibility for lost or stolen packages and cannot ship out any replacement packages or refund these orders.
Delivery Policies
1) Delivery options
At checkout, you can choose one of the following delivery services:
A. Standard Delivery (Kerbside Delivery)
Delivery is made to the kerbside/front boundary of the delivery address (e.g., driveway, front gate, or nearest safe point accessible to our vehicle). This option does not include carrying items beyond the kerbside, entering your property, or placement in your yard.
B. Backyard Placement (Placement Service Add-On)
We will place your plants/items in your backyard at the delivery address, subject to safe and reasonable access (see Section 6). This is an additional placement service on top of delivery.
2) Delivery charges
Standard Delivery (Kerbside Delivery) Charges (distance from our dispatch location):

0–20 km: $90

20–40 km: $120

40–60 km: $150
Backyard Placement (Add-On) Charge:

$50 (flat fee)
Notes:
Distances are calculated by us using mapping tools based on the delivery address provided.
Backyard Placement is charged in addition to the Standard Delivery charge.
3) Delivery areas

Standard Delivery rates above apply to deliveries within 0–50 km.
- If your address is outside our delivery radius, we may contact you to arrange an alternative quote, reschedule, or cancel/refund the order.
4) Scheduling & delivery windows
We will contact you (or send a notification) to confirm or advise a delivery date/window once your order is processed.
Delivery windows are estimates only and may be affected by traffic, weather, supplier delays, or operational constraints.
5) Customer responsibilities
To ensure a successful delivery, you agree to:

Provide a complete and accurate delivery address, including access notes if required.

Ensure the delivery point is clear and accessible at the time of delivery.

Ensure any pets are secured and hazards are removed where placement is requested.
If we cannot safely deliver or place items due to access issues, we may complete delivery to the nearest safe point (typically kerbside) and the Backyard Placement fee may still apply if our team attended and attempted service.
6) Backyard Placement conditions (safe access required)
Backyard Placement is provided only where safe and reasonable access is available. This service may be refused or modified at our discretion if:

Access requires entering an area that is unsafe (uneven ground, steep slopes, mud, flooding, aggressive animals, etc.)

Gates/paths are too narrow for safe handling

Stairs, tight turns, or obstacles create a high risk of injury or damage

The placement area is not clearly identifiable or instructions are not available
If Backyard Placement cannot be completed safely, we will deliver to kerbside (or nearest safe point). Where we have attended and attempted placement, the $50 Backyard Placement fee may not be refundable.
7) Authority to leave goods
Standard Delivery (Kerbside): By choosing this option, you authorise us to leave your order at kerbside/front boundary at the delivery address where it is safe to do so.
Backyard Placement: By choosing this option, you authorise us to enter your property to place items in your backyard as instructed (where safe).
Where possible, we may take a delivery photo as proof of delivery.
8) Risk and responsibility after delivery
Once the order has been delivered to the nominated location (kerbside or backyard placement area), risk passes to you, including loss, theft, weather exposure, or damage caused after delivery.
We recommend planning to receive the order promptly and ensuring plants are moved/positioned and cared for as soon as possible.
9) Cancellations, changes & failed deliveries
Changes to address or delivery option must be requested as soon as possible and may not be possible once scheduling is confirmed.
If a delivery attempt fails due to incorrect address details, inaccessible property, or inability to contact you where required, a re-delivery fee may apply.
10) Plant and product considerations
Plants are living products and may vary in size/shape/colour. We take care in transit, but minor cosmetic marks can occur. If your order arrives with significant damage, please contact us promptly with photos.
